Rain Sensing Wipers Bmw X1 : ECS News - BMW E84 X1 SAV Euro Headlight Switch - Swapped sensor on windshield but no change.. The wipers work fine but the rain sensing just goes to intermittent with stop/stop ok. Had my winshield replaced a while back and the rain sensing wipers havent worked sin. If you turn off the engine and then restart it will sometimes fix the problem but not always. Others think they work just fine though. The x1 is a quintessential bmw suv just in a smaller package.
